Coach Moe has coached for over 30 years, starting with adults and now with juniors and collegiately.
After playing and coaching his military teams while serving in the US Army, Coach Moe found a passion for coaching juniors starting with a County Rec team in 2012. From there, he started coaching with Sandhills Volleyball club and has coached with them for the past six years. During his time with Sandhills VBC, he had two teams qualify for the USAV Girls Junior National Championships. They first played in the 15U American Division in 2014, and then again in the 16U National Division in 2015. Coach Moe is Cap I certified through USAV
In 2013, Coach Moe was hired to coach the Freedom Christian Academy junior varsity volleyball team, and in 2015 he took over as the varsity coach. The varsity team was undefeated in their conference in both 2015 and 2017. Coach Moe was selected as Coach of the Year for both seasons. In 2018, Coach Moe was hired to coach and start a brand new volleyball program at Fayetteville Technical Community College. This program will allow many local players to continue their volleyball careers beyond high school. The team is competing in the NJCAA Div2, Region 10. Coach Moe graduated from Fayetteville Tech with an AAS in Electronic Engineering. He has four children, twin girls who attend NC State University and boys that are 14 and 12 yrs old who attend Liberty Christian Academy. He works as a Wireless Engineer for Cape Fear Valley Health System
Coach Dal began coaching volleyball 15 years ago when his middle daughter’s travel team needed a coach. He has coached for Brick City Volleyball for the last 13 years. His coaching Philosophy is” To compete without sacrificing class or integrity; while caring about the person more than the athlete”
His teams have won a variety of tournaments including a National Qualifier in 2014 and qualified for the Girls Junior Nationals twice. Coach Dal took over a Chatham Central High school team in 2015 that had not had a winning season in a number of years and was without a conference title since 1996. In 2015, CCHS finished as Conference and Tournament Champions and Coach Dal received the Conference Coach of the Year award. In 2017, the Bears were co-conference champions and coach Dal was conference Coach of the Year.
Coach Dal’s Passion is the development of young people through the sport of volleyball. Coach Dal coaches so he does’nt have to grow up. Coach Dal is CAP II certified through USA Volleyball and received a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. He currently lives in Sanford NC with his wife Cara of 31 years and has three grown daughters
